Sudoku Schmudoku

At a White Elephant Party this year, my little brother got a handheld Sudoku game. I set it to easy and was introduced to the game. I ended up playing it for an hour that night without solving a single puzzle- and that was set to easy.

If you've never played sudoku, I suggest you don't. It the most addicting/frustrating/time-consuming/life-draining game in the world. I would put it in the same category as gambling in fact. You always feel like you can beat it, but you don't. And even if you do eventually solve a puzzle, half of your day is gone- poof! into thin air.

Below is a puzzle I printed out a few nights ago. I didn't finish it until 2:00am, and even then, It wasn't right. I pulled it out of the trash as a warning for you all.

I freaking LOVE Sudoku! Tannon and I got addicted to this game right before we got married. So guess what we did on our honeymoon? Exciting, eh?

I'm all for cross word puzzles, but sudoku.... yeah. Kill me now. That game sucks so bad. And you know what. It's not a game. Because games are supposed to be fun. Take that Sudoku.

P.S. I got an 'Easy' Crossword Puzzle book in my stocking and it turns out that I'm an idiot. I had to cheat on most of them.

I had never heard of Sudoku before so I googled it and I tried an online game. I picked the easiest level and it took me 31 minutes to finish. I was feeling pretty good about it until I clicked on check your results, the average time to finish the easiest level is less than 3 mins. I was only 10 time slower than the average. Well I was just pleased I even finished.

Not a Sudoku fan either.

I prefer the New York Times' crossword instead.

It combines two of my favorite things--odd knowledge and puns.

My husband loves it! I actually got him a hand held game for Christmas. He is really smart though and does it pretty fast. I think it looks stupid and will likely make ME look stupid, so I actually have never tried it. thanks for the heads up. I will stick with spider solitaire and crosswords.

I am a HUGE sudoku fan... before I had Nate I used to do at least two of them before going to bed each night, they helped me to relax and to clear my mind!

Pretty funny. Okay space bags are amazing! They suck out all of the air out of your clothes so you can fit more things in your suitcase. LOVE them. I even dreamt about having them in my life before even getting them. I like to imagine me being organized... too bad dreams don't alwasy come true, but baby steps to my dream.
