Courtney Cox doesn't cry well
I had a conversation with my friend Don Heath about how movies that you thought were great as a child, often turn out to be terrible when you watch them as an adult. For Don, it was Milo and Otis. As a kid, he thought it was the best movie ever until he recently watched it again.
That got me thinking about shows that I used to think were totally radical, but disenchanted me after re-watching them.
The first of which was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the cartoon series. How can a series be carried almost entirely on one-liners from Michaelangelo?
The second being Masters of the Universe- Starring Courtney Cox, the principle from Back to the Future, and Ivan Drago from Rocky IV.

The movie that I've thought this about was Chances Are, with Robert Downey Jr. & Cybill Shepard. I remember seeing it once when I was younger and thinking it was so good and then when I saw it when I was older I was a bit disturbed. There's a crazy love triangle and little oddities like a shot they give you in heaven to forget your past and the daughter having a crush on her 'Dad' in a young person's body. It just wasn't as enchanting as I had recalled. (But, if it comes on tv again, I will watch it)
Ooh, another one is She Devil with Roseanne Bar. Oh man. If you haven't watched it, I dare you to watch it.
milo and otis?!

The Crawling Eye
As a kid every Friday night at 10:30 on channel 4 they had Nightmare Theater. Tere were a few of the shows I watched that scared me to death, House on Haunted Hill scared me so bad I was sick for 3 or 4 days and couldn't sleep. Today it is still one of my favorite Horror movies but it wasn't until I was an adult that I could watch it again. I have added it to my collection. I showed it a few years ago to my nephews and since it was old and in black and white they weren't that impressed by it. The Crawling Eye was another one that I remember that made an impression on me, so a few years ago I bought the DVD. STUPID the active was pretty bad they never show the monster until the very end of the movie and the effects are so bad it is laughable. My vote for the biggest disapointment years later is the Crawling Eye. I agree with Catie Milo and Otis is great I remember watching it several times when you were a kid, another one I'm almost emarassed to say that I still love is Babe. Well there you have it I know I am odd.
Haha Cory. I loved Chances Are. Also Heart and Souls and Crull. Such pitiful excuses for films. :)
Okay I did the turbo jam lower body then the next day I did a cycling class. Next time you see my booty it is going to be massive of muscle. Thanks for the movie. It was amazing!
