a time for peace.

"Let it be a time of prayers for peace, for the preservation of free principles, and for the protection of those who are far from us. Let it be a time of forgetting self and finding time for others. Let it be a time for discarding the meaningless and for stressing the true values. Let it be a time of peace because we have found peace in His teachings.

Most of all, let it be a time to remember the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the Wise Men."

-President Thomas S. Monson
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

army guys.

after he pretends
they're running
and shooting their guns,
he kisses them
and tells them
he loves them...

that's normal, right?

biz-ay.

good night nurse!
are there really only five days
until christmas?

after moving
and shopping
and christmas partying
and david archuletta
knocking my socks off
(i had my doubts about him
singing with the choir..and for this
i say, i'm sorry i ever doubted you
david, truly i am
)
aaaand dealing with dave's
christmastache...(dramatic?)
this month feels
like a blur.

however,
it's finally settling
down and we are
soaking up all
the christmas wonderfulness.

we're happily watching
all of our favorite
christmas movies and there's
one in particular i'm trying
to find from my childhood.
does anyone remember
the animated christmas movie
about a mouse and a clock???
anyway, merry christmas,
my babies...it's good to blog again.
