another first...and hopefully last.

after swimming lessons
mr. b tripped and fell...
and bit through his chin.

it. was. awful.

after 2 attempts at sedation
to try and stitch him up
i ended up holding him down
because the sedation
wouldn't work.

about 4 hours later we finally
got to go home.

thank you to the sweetest
doctors and the sweetest nurses
(who kept kissing him)
at the lds hospital er...
hopefully we never have to
see you again.
and a big thank you to the best
mother-in-law in the world
who stayed with us the whole time.

grateful that it was just a little
scare and nothing serious.

ps
partially sedated bennett is the
sweetest/most heart breaking
thing in the world.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!
Poor Bennett!!!
I had to hold Kate down for stitches once :(
I was sure she would never forgive me.
Yet as soon as it was over she was holding my hand and thanking us for her Popsicle. Kids are the best!

Poor kid and poor mommy and daddy! There is nothing worse than having to physically hold your child down while they are screaming and in pain. I hope he gets better soon!

This makes me want to cry.

You're pregnant??? And it's a girl? Watch out, boys! She's going to be a heartbreaker!

Miss your face.

dang! Poor B, that is the worst I am so sorry. And it's really hard on the mom, I remember when Parker had to have stitches on his chin and the sedation didn't work on him either and I had to hold him down, it was heartbreaking. Hope he is feeling better! See ya on Saturday!!!

did you console him by saying "chicks dig scars"?

Oh no! poor little thing! We will have matching scars cause I did the same thing when I was about 2 years old. I hope he feels better soon.

Poor guy. That is sad. So grateful I haven't had to stitch up a boy yet, let's hope it is a continuing trend. That just sounds awful for all of you. Hope he is feeling better and healing up nicely.
