on the balcony,
quickly turned into a
straight up water fight...
and then ended with b
dancing around like a happy fool,
with the bowl on his head.

parenthood. it's off the hook.

to the happy dad.

this is what our happy fathers day looked like.

you needed no training or help
when you became a dad.
you just were.
like it is why you are even here
in the first place.
but not only that, you are
delighted to do so.

thank you for
never treating parenthood
like it's a chore
(i could learn a thing or two from you...truly)
thank you for your faith
and the comfort you bring
with your priesthood.

we would simply be lost without you.

because it is ridiculous and
slightly embarassing and
i think it's healthy to be

the kicker is that when i bought this i thought
"how great is this resealable bag?
genius. and now i will purchase this."

then i had to go home and get all scissor happy for no good reason.

on june 5th it was 3 years.

i wish i would have kept a secret
tape recorder in my pocket
when we announced we were engaged.
why? you ask. well, people...mostly
women, are pretty silly/crazy
about their advice and their
"warnings" to girls getting married...
may i never ever be that way.

now, if someone were to tell me
"3 years down the road, dave is
going to make you a cool little
anniversary video...all about you
(with appearances by your cute baby,
you dressed up like a geisha but
really just looking like heath ledgers
version of the joker, and a lot
of moments of all the fun you guys
will have had)"...i probably would
have believed you because i knew that's
just how thoughtful and creative dave is.

does anyone else think it's the most
adorable thing ever, when children
tell you sorry? i almost want bennett
to be naughty so i can hear it.

don't hate them because they're beautiful.

well i just finished up my
first photo shoot with
banana republic....oh wait,
no, no i didn't.

i suppose it just felt like it
because these two people
are just really really good looking...
and their fabulous clothes
were indeed from banana republic.

they are two of our dearest
friends and they're getting
married in august.

meet scott and the girl who stole
his heart, kelsie.
we love them dearly and are honored
to be filming and photographing
all of the wedding bliss.
