Hypothetically speaking

A friend of mine once read me an excerpt from a book by Chuck Klosterman. In it he details 23 different hypothetical questions he asks people to better get to know them. I'd like to pose some of these questions to you.

-At long last, someone invents “the dream VCR.” This machine allows you to tape an entire evening’s worth of your own dreams, which you can then watch at your leisure. However, the inventor of the dream VCR will only allow you to use this device if you agree to a strange caveat: When you watch your dreams, you must do so with your family and your closest friends in the same room. They get to watch your dreams along with you. And if you don’t agree to this, you can’t use the dream VCR. Would you still do this?

No, no I would not! I have some really crazy dreams some times, especially lately and I would rather not know all of my dreams than to have everyone close to me know my dreams. I think that is one of the nice things about dreams, they are personal and you can share them with whom you wish to share them with. PS~ The pictures aren't me... they are of my Dad :D

Though dreams may be personal, it is a rare occasion to remember them at all, let alone be able to watch them. I think the offer would be too hard to pass up.
Plus, on the off chance that I have a totally embarrassing dream, I could just blame it on my subconscious.

Absolutely not. My dreams are so bizarre that they would scare the crap out of my family and friends. Sometimes they scare the crap out of me. Where do these things come from?

I guess it would be hard to stand blameless after certain dreams.
For example, when I asked this question to a lady at work, she said, "no way, then they'd think I was a 'lesbo'".
I will admit that I now question her sexuality.

My dreams are random but never embarrassingly crude. It'd be a roller coaster of my surreal subconscious for all who watched.

I would leave suggestive Transformers dreams to the maestro, David Pilkington, however.

I'll have you know Adam, the dream you've mentioned was not about transformers, it was about the X-men. You've got to get your suggestive dreams about Saturday morning cartoons straight.
